Davis,
34, was signed by Farnborough in the summer of 2022 from League Two side Sutton
United.
He
had joined Sutton in July 2017 after a season with Boreham Wood, but was
previously with Braintree Town for six seasons, winning the Conference South
championship in 2011 and then captaining the Essex side at National League
level, leading them to the play-off semi-finals in the 2015/16 season and
scoring the only goal of their first leg win at Grimsby Town.
Making
nearly 200 appearances at Cressing Road, he was also a regular in the England C
side.
He
started out at Chelsea and also featured for Harlow Town and Grays Athletic
before signing for the Iron in 2010.
He
helped Sutton to promotion to the Football League.
As
part of the deal, summer signing from Hayes & Yeading United, Francis
Amartey will head to the Easy As HGV Stadium on a month’s loan.
Joining
the Shots from Loftus Road until January are forward Ody Alfa and midfielder
Faysal Bettache.
The
23-year-old Alfa (pictured) has previously spent time on loan with Spanish side Atletico
Baleares, Billericay Town, Maidenhead United and Dartford.
Alfa
has made 10 senior appearances for Rangers.
Bettache,
22, and originally with Watford, has been on loan with Billericay and also
Oldham Athletic, then in League Two, where he made 10 appearances.
He
has 9 first-team games to his credit for the R’s to date. |
