The club have a very tight squad and both lads know the boys very well and feel that continuity is the key here.

Sockett is very experienced and has a wealth of knowledge at this level whilst Nicholls is a very passionate and qualified coach who already contributes massively in first team affairs.

We have been around the club for a while as part of Paul's management team and it is now our job to see this through for everyone at the club and our fantastic fans.''

Since I walked through the door with Paul Smith three years ago, I have fallen in love with the football club. Taking on the academy was amazing and now being able to say I'm managing Halesowen Town FC is an incredible feeling. All I want to do alongside Martin, Josh and the other staff is to finish what we have started. The fans who have been incredible since I've been at the club deserve to see some success and I'm determined to bring it. Lastly the players in the team are ready to fight for this club and I think it’s going to be one hell of ride'.'
