Plymouth Parkway have announced the signing of defender Toby Down from Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South rivals Tiverton Town.

And, ironically, he could make his debut for his new club against his former one on Wednesday evening at Bolitho Park!

The 28-year-old joined Tiverton in July.

He started his career with League One side Exeter City, with whom he made a couple of first team appearances and also had loan spells with Weymouth and Dorchester Town.

He has also played for Taunton Town and Buckland Athletic.

He joined Southern Division One South club Bideford AFC in 2018 – his father is former club captain Ian Down – before stepping up a level to join Tiverton.
