Following successful trials, in come Josh Hutchinson, Jake Jolliffe, Alex Stephenson and Billy Willis.

Twenty-two-year-old winger Hutchinson spent last season with Redbridge, and, with defender Stephenson, returns for a second spell with the Gulls having also played for Billericay Town, Braintree Town and Aveley.

Stephenson recently left Canvey`s league rivals Aveley.

He's also an ex-Billericay player who can play at centre-half and left-back and started the 2016/17 season at Braintree.

Stephenson started his career at Southend United before moving on to Southend Manor, Bishop’s Stortford and Billericay.

Two more defenders have also joined, with Willis having previously turned out for Tilbury and Great Wakering Rovers and Jolliffe coming through the ranks at AFC Hornchurch and represented the Essex under-18's.
