The 25-year-old had joined the Gulls in July 2022 following his release by SkyBet League One side AFC Wimbledon. He enjoyed a prolific loan spell in the National League with Aldershot Town in 2021/22, netting 9 goals in 20 appearances before joining League Two side Colchester United on a similar loan deal. He started out at Crystal Palace and enjoyed loan spells in the Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division with Margate and Kingstonian whilst at Selhurst Park. Spells with Whyteleafe and Kingstonian again followed before he joined AFC Wimbledon in January 2021. Torquay manager Gary Johnson told https://torquayunited.com: “Corie Andrews has made a decision to go to Wealdstone, and we understand his decision. “At this moment in time, we couldn’t promise him games in the starting eleven, and also, it’s very difficult when he’s been injured for quite some time. He’s fit now, but he’s been injured up until now, and he wanted to be nearer to his family in London. “So, we agreed for him to go, and wish him all the best for the future”.
