Ngathe re-joins Thame from Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Ardley United. He is an attack-minded right-sided defender who is comfortable on the ball and with an eye for goal. The Cameroonian full-back came through the Oxford City development sides and progressed to make 30 appearances for the City first team during the 2016/17 season. He had a short spell with Bishop's Cleeve early in 2017/18 before returning to Oxford City. His next port of call was Banbury United, for whom he made 24 appearances in 2017/18 and a further 12 the following campaign before having a short spell with Thatcham Town. He moved to North Leigh and then originally signed for the Red Kites in 2019/20. A stint at Biggleswade Town proceeded his move to Ardley in 2021 and he has totalled 66 games and 6 goals before returning to Thame.
