The U`s have signed Bradbury to play for their new under-23 side.

The 19-year-old, the son of former Oxford and Portsmouth striker Lee – the current manager of National League side Havant & Waterlooville - joins from Watford, where he has spent the last twelve months.

Bradbury scored twice in five starts on loan for St Albans City in the National League South last season and before joining the Hornets spent three years in Portsmouth’s youth set-up.

He had been loaned to Hungerford by Watford but is expected to be able to remain at Bulpit Lane now he has moved to Oxford and played in Tuesday`s 1-1 draw against Wealdstone.

Bradbury follows hot on the heels of the Crusaders bringing in midfielder Alfie Whittingham from Havant.

Whittingham has been briefly with Hungerford before back in 2015/16 on loan and has also spent time out at Petersfield Town, AFC Totton and Gosport Borough.
