Manager Gary Setchell is no stranger to Hilliard, having had the front man staring for his successful King’s Lynn Town and Wisbech Town sides. The forward joins the Steelmen from league rivals Spalding United, where he had been since July 2022. He had re-joined then-Isthmian North side Dereham Town for a third time in July 2019 having started out on their books and attracted the attention of National League North side King`s Lynn in August 2015. He made over 100 appearances for the Linnets and also had a 5-game and 3-goal loan spell back with Dereham in the 2017/18 season. After losing a regular spot in the Linnets side the following season, he joined Wisbech Town in October 2018. Noble (pictured) moves to Corby from Southern Premier Division Central side Nuneaton Borough. The 21-year-old tough tackling central midfielder, who breaks play up and distributes the ball well, had moved to the Steelmen’s league rivals Shepshed Dynamo in January 2022 from Nuneaton and then made the reverse journey back to Liberty Way in June 2022. He originally joined Boro in June 2021 from Loughborough University. He signed forms with Vanarama National League North side Chester in April 2019. The central midfielder from Lache, scored on his senior debut in April 2018 in a home defeat to Maidstone United in the National League. He went on to make a dozen appearances for the Blues and also scored in an FA Cup victory over City of Liverpool. Whilst still on Chester`s books, he had two separate loan spells in the NPL Premier Division with Atherton Collieries and also with Hyde United. After leaving Chester in 2020, he went to Loughborough University and was a member of their United Counties League Premier Division team, whilst also signing dual forms for NPL Division One West side Runcorn Linnets in December 2020.
