Simper Re-Unites With Manager at Woking
Lewis Simper has Vanarama National League club joined Woking on loan from SkyBet League One side Cambridge United until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old midfielder re-unites with manager Darren Sarll at Kingfield after the two worked together at Woking’s league rivals Yeovil Town last season. Academy graduate Simper has been with Cambridge since the age of 6 and is currently contracted at the club until the end of the 2024/25 season. From a mainstay in the youth squads to experiencing productive loan spells with St Neots Town, Yeovil Town and Concord Rangers, where he earned plaudits and started at Wembley Stadium as the Beachboys reached the 2019/20 FA Trophy Final, the defensive midfielder has enjoyed a steady few years` of progression. Now a key part of the group, he made 4 starts during the 2021/22 season.
