The 22-year-old (pictured) is no stranger to the Yellows, having made 28 appearances during the 2019/20 season. His final appearance was the last game before COVID, when Warren scored a stunning injury-time winner to complete a comeback from 2-0 down at home to Matlock Town. He moved to league rivals Ashton United in the summer of 2021, having originally joined the Yellows in September 2019 having been released by Premier League Everton, where he had come through the youth ranks to become a regular in the under-18s. Joining Warren at Cantilever Park is young centre-back Alex McNally, who has been training with the club in recent weeks. The 18-year-old made 4 appearances for Marine AFC last season and has spent time with Burscough.
