Bell's in at Hanley

Matt Bell has departed Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division club Nantwich Town to join NPL Division One West side Hanley Town.

Bell re-joined the Dabbers from Leek Town in December 2021 and made 34 appearances in all competitions to take his total across his spells at the club to 233, with 31 goals. The 31-year-old midfielder re-joined Nantwich in December 2021 from NPL Division One West side Leek Town, where he had returned to in 2019. He originally signed for the Dabbers May 2015 from Kidsgrove Athletic having started his career at Mansfield Town before being released. He subsequently signed for Leek in 2012 and became a key figure for them, featuring in their play-off push during the 2013/14 season. He moved to Kidsgrove in January of 2015 and spent the second half of the 2014/15 season with them. He joined the Dabbers for the start of the 2015/16 season and had a great first season with the club, putting in consistent performances and notching 12 goals in all competitions and made around 200 appearances.
