The 28-year-old had been with Colls since May 2022 after arriving from another rival, Warrington Rylands, where he had only been since February 2022. He had returned to NPL Premier side Stalybridge Celtic in May 2021. The Warrington-born striker had re-joined Witton Albion in May 2020 from Stalybridge, who he had originally joined from Skelmersdale United in June 2018. Whilst with Skem he broke the record for the fastest hat-trick scored in the 50 years of the Northern Premier League, when he bagged three against Kendal Town in March 2018 to turn around a two-goal deficit and give Skelmersdale all three points in that match. Before Skelmersdale, he was in his second stint at Warrington Town whom he joined from Curzon Ashton. He has also played for Colwyn Bay, Marine (twice) and Witton Albion (twice).
