| Club Legend Returns to Dabbers |
| Nantwich Town have announced the return of club legend Sean Cooke to the Swansway Stadium from Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division rivals Warrington Rylands. |

| The 30-year-old began his career at Crewe Alexandra, but after having trials at Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic he moved to Nantwich for the 2011/12 season.
He left for AFC Fylde in 2013, where he won the NPL Premier Division player of the year award and subsequently joined AFC Telford United.
He returned to Nantwich on loan in late February 2015, where he played a vital part in helping the Dabbers keep their NPL Premier Division status.
He joined FC United of Manchester at the start of the 2015/16 season, but after being released, he returned to the Dabbers again.
He made almost 250 Nantwich appearances with 80-plus goals before moving to Warrington Rylands in October 2022.
Nantwich manager Paul Carden told https://www.nantwichtownfc.co.uk: “I’ve known Sean a long time, he’s well known at the club and well known as one of the best goalscoring attacking midfielders in the league over the last four or five years.
“It became clear he wasn’t going to be featuring at Rylands and we were never going to turn down the opportunity to get someone who’s going to add goals to what we need”.
