Hayes is a highly enthusiastic young manager who already has his UEFA badge, and he will be getting started immediately towards the start of next season. The 30-year-old is known at the Newton Fallowell Stadium already, having been assistant manager at the club in the 2018/19 season. Since then, he has also been manager at Leicester Nirvana and assistant manager at Harborough Town for most of the 2022/23 season where they just missed out on the play-offs on the final day. For the past six years, Hayes has also been head coach at the University of Nottingham where he built a good team and has had success. Loughborough Dynamo co-chairmen Darren Rodgers and Ian Beech told https://www.loughboroughdynam: “We are pleased to appoint Tom Hayes as our new first team manager and we want to welcome him to the club. “We know Tom from his previous time at the club and we have watched what he had achieved elsewhere since then and the success he has had, and we are delighted to have an opportunity to welcome him back as First Team Manager. “As a club our philosophy is to have young, hungry, exciting players that fans will enjoy watching and with his success at the University of Nottingham, we believe Tom is the right man to find that talent and bring them together as part of a cohesive team.” Hayes started out as an academy player at Leicester City before moving onto Walsall and since he moved on from being a player, he has also been youth development coach at Lincoln City, Coventry City and Notts County. Hayes said: “I’m delighted to be joining Loughborough Dynamo and I’m relishing the opportunity to lead the club forward into next season. “After a great finish to the season just gone, there’s a strong platform and squad to build on. The culture of this club has only ever had rave reviews and I want that to continue. “The focus, ultimately, is on winning games of football all while creating an environment both on and off the pitch that makes everyone want to be a part of this club. Loughborough is a big town, and we’d love to see more people coming through the turnstiles and it’s our job to set up a team that people want to come and see. “I’m grateful to Darren and Ian for putting their faith in me and I’m looking forward to getting to work!”
