Dowson took over at Dartford in 2022.
He spent seven successful years at Kingstonian, followed by four years at Hampton & Richmond Borough and Woking respectively.
In his first season at Woking, the Cards finished second in the National League South and were promoted to the National League after beating Welling United in the play-off final.
Dartford feel the new contract it is due recognition for the outstanding work that Dowson put in to his first season with the club, not only in finishing in second place – the highest end of season position in five years - but the work he has done throughout the club, at all levels, to ensure that everyone is pulling together, with the ultimate aim of promotion to the National League.
