Tongue Swaps Tigers for Lions |
Guiseley AFC have announced the signing of, midfielder Liam Tongue after his departure from Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division rivals Hyde United. |

The 25-year-old midfielder actually played the one match for the then-Vanarama National League North Lions in 2021 when he signed on dual registration whilst with Hyde.
Tongue had been with Hyde since the summer of 2019 and as a local Tameside lad, he become a fans` favourite at Ewen Fields.
He started his career at Stockport Georgians, before joining Cheadle Town where he won the players` player of the year award in 2016.
He has also had spells with Mossley AFC, Marine AFC and Stalybridge Celtic.
By day Tongue is a college tutor at Sheffield United running the degree programme for the academy players.
