Thirty-three-year-old Shiels (pictured) joins the Bucks from league rivals Boston United, where he was club captain. He was a May 2019 signing for Boston from another league rival, Alfreton Town. He had joined the Reds on a two-year deal in June 2017 from Harrogate Town. A tall and strong centre-back, he made his move to Harrogate in 2014 from Worksop Town and played an influential role in his first season at the CNG Stadium forming a formidable defensive partnership with Danny Ellis. However, an injury to his knee in December 2015 led to a lengthy spell on the sidelines for him. Burrow also moves to Silverlands from Boston United. The 30-year-old had signed for the Pilgrims in August 2020 from National League side York City, where he had been since May 2018 after leaving Gateshead. He has played in the Football League for both Stevenage and Morecambe and won the FA Trophy with FC Halifax Town. A former England C international, he started his career at Chesterfield but made his senior debut during a loan spell with Boston United. He scored 10 goals in 39 appearances for Lincoln City in the 2014/15 season before notching 14 goals in 43 league starts for Halifax in 2015/16. Sheffield-born, he joined Gateshead in November 2016 and scored 10 goals before his switch to the Minstermen.
