The 24-year-old attacking midfielder had been 2ith the Puritans since August 2021. He had joined then-National League side King`s Lynn Town in April 2021 from National League North side Alfreton Town, for whom he joined in October 2020. He started his career progressing through Derby County`s system, having also played for Real Union in Spain on loan. Other clubs he has played for include FC United of Manchester. He has also appeared for Wales at under-21 level, making a debut in a European Championship game against Liechtenstein. Bulls` boss Paul Caddis told https://www.herefordfc.co.uk: “Alex is a player who, after speaking to him about the possibility of joining our club, was really hungry, enthusiastic and excited to become part of our rebuild moving forward. After a successful season at Banbury in 22/23, in which he showed the robustness and fitness base that is needed to be a part of my squad by making more than 50 appearances, I am absolutely delighted to have secured his signature on a one-year deal. “Alex is a midfielder who will take the ball in any area of the pitch and who has the personality and confidence to take control in pressurised situations and bring a calmness to our play. He has a strong, driven personality, which will work well with our other recent signing, Aurio (Teixeira), and I am excited to see the way their qualities will complement each other in the middle of the pitch. “I’d also like to expand on my recent thanks to our fans for the fantastic, ever-growing season ticket sales, because Alex was particularly impressed by the rate that tickets are being bought and is really excited to play at our football club in front of our supporters. As has been said previously, your support really does make a huge difference and I’m confident that my players will be able to send our loyal fans home from games knowing that, at the very least, they have given 100% effort, 100% of the time”.
