Standing at 6’6, Hunt joins the Bucks after two years at Yeovil Town. The 24-year-old had joined Yeovil in January 2021 on a permanent deal from League Two side Carlisle United for an undisclosed fee. After a successful short spell on loan, the towering central defender now signed a more permanent deal with the Glovers. During his loan stay, Hunt played four times for the club, winning on three occasions. He graduated from the Derby County academy but failed to make a first team appearance for the Rams. However, he gained experience in men’s football, with loan spells with Northern Premier League Division One East side Belper Town and eventually Aldershot Town in the National League in 2019/20, where he made 22 appearances. Following his first taste of National League football, the Chesterfield-born defender moved northbound to Carlisle in the summer but after making 6 appearances, he ventured to Somerset on loan.
