The 23-year-old joins the Rebels from Bracknell Town following a hugely successful season, with his 16 goals and six assists in 45 appearances helping the club to a second-place finish in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South, ultimately narrowly losing to Truro City in the play-off final. He also lifted silverware with the Robins, winning the Berks & Bucks FA Senior Cup. The attacking midfielder who had joined the Robins in December 2019 from then-Southern League Premier South rivals Hartley Wintney. He joined Championship side Queens Park Rangers from neighbours Brentford in 2014, aged just 14. He left Loftus Road in May 2019. Manager Scott Davies told https://www.sloughtownfc.net: “Mickel is someone that I’ve liked for a couple of years now since playing against him in a friendly at Arbour Park in pre-season back in 2021. “On the day he was strong on the ball and powerful in his running, something which I feel is important and will add to the team. He’s still a very good age and someone I believe with the right coaching and opportunities could kick on again in his career. “Having watched him on a few occasions this year, once I was made aware that other clubs in the league were interested in him, it would have been naive of me to not try and get him on board with us. “After taking time to think about the offers in front of him, I’m glad he’s chosen us and I can’t wait to start working with him”.
