The 25-year-old winger ended last season at Angels` league rivals Dulwich Hamlet, where he was on loan from Havant & Waterlooville. Critchlow began his career at Queens Park Rangers, spending time on loan at Torquay United, before his release from the Championship side led to a move to Chelmsford City. After spells at Hendon and Hanwell Town, he moved on to Braintree Town, where he had a season making 39 appearances, scoring 6 goals from wide areas before joining Havant at the start of last season. He made 20 appearances for the Hawks before a loan spell at Hemel Hempstead Town and ending the season at Dulwich. Angels` assistant manager Tommy Parkinson told https://www.tonbridgeangels.co.uk: “Gianni was recommended to us by the Sittingbourne manager Ryan Maxwell and he was a player that we’ve kept tabs on because we were interested last season but couldn’t get a deal over the line, but this summer we are lucky enough to have done so”.
