The 26-year-old, who can also play wing-back, will join the Cards from league rivals Boreham Wood on 1st July on a deal through to the end of the 2023/24 season. Lewis had been with Wood since November 2021 after arriving from another league rival, Wealdstone. He had joined the Stones in June 2019 from Bromley – just ahead of what turned out to be a brief stay on ITV 2`s `Love Island`! The versatile forward was a product of the Watford academy before earning a professional contract with the Hornets in 2015. He made no appearances for Watford in his three-year spell but have loan moves to National League side Woking and League Two side Crawley Town. In the summer of 2018, he moved to Scottish Championship side Falkirk before returning to England to sign for Bromley at the start of 2019.
