Hitchings had become an integral and highly valued part of the club, but due to him accepting a full-time role within the football industry, he will be leaving the Swans at the end of June and everybody wishes him well in his new role. Hitchings performed both his analysis and coaching role to an extremely high level with the first team, and will be missed by the coaches, players, supporters, and committee next season. He also excelled as under-18 manager, leading the team to a fantastic history making league and cup `double` during the 2022/23 season, as well as supporting several players in making the step up to play Southern League football, with many of the group returning for pre-season with the first team this coming summer. An outstanding coach and leader, Hitchings brought the group of players together and contributed to a season that will live long in the memories of everybody involved in the club.
