Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Central club Hitchin Town have made no less than EIGHT new signings.....

....ahead of tomorrow`s opening game of the 2018/19 season.

 

Striker Charlie Thake arrives from Herts County League side Letchworth Garden City Eagles, having netted three times for Hitchin during pre-season.

 

Midfielder Issac Galliford has spent the past two seasons in the United States representing Butler University Bulldogs.

 

He originally came through the youth system at SkyBet League One side Luton Town.

 

International clearance is required before he is able to play.

 

Striker Scott Belgrove was released by Luton at the end of last season and has impressed during pre-season.

 

Midfielder Craig Packham was most recently with Southern Division One Central side Barton Rovers and has also impressed during pre-season.

 

He has also turned out for Arlesey Town and Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Biggleswade United.

 

Michael King is a familiar face to Canaries fans.

 

He spent much of last season at Kings Langley, joining from Cambridge City in October 2017.

 

King was in his second spell with City having previously signed in October 2014 following a loan spell from Hitchin after buying out his own contract with the Hertfordshire outfit.

 

King is a midfield player who can also play as a striker.

 

His other former clubs include Colchester United, Northampton Town, Kettering Town and Biggleswade Town.

 

Defender Kyle Davison-Gordon, most recently with the University of Houston Victoria Jaguars team in the US.

 

He started out at Luton.

 

Exciting young full-back Macsen Fraser has joined for an undisclosed fee from League Two side Stevenage.

 

He spent time on loan at Kings Langley last season and signs on after an impressive debut against Bishop’s Stortford in midweek.

 

Vastly experienced midfielder Danny Talbot has also signed for Hitchin.

 

Talbot’s former clubs include Potters Bar Town, Chesham United, Hemel Hempstead Town, Dunstable Town and Rushden & Diamonds.

 

He is the son of former Ipswich, Arsenal and England midfielder Brian Talbot and left Chesham last year to become European scout for Fulham, although he did turn out for Barton Rovers later.
