The forward, who will be 26 on Tuesday, is a product of Bradford City academy, having joined them after playing football for Wyke Wanderers in his home city. Sorhaindo joined the Bantams aged 13 and on leaving his first dalliance with men’s football came with Toolstation Northern Counties East League side Campion AFC. He impressed Silsden AFC manager Danny Forrest, who took him to Cobbeydale where he scored 12 goals in 22 games before sustaining ankle ligament damage. The striker recovered and having caught the eye of the Brighouse Town management moved to the NPL Division One East outfit in 2020 only to have his progress halted by Covid-19. His form at Brighouse lead him to become one of the best strikers in the division, his 23 goals last season putting him second only to former Guiseley hit man Adam Boyes, who was hitting the net regularly for Marske United with 28.
