Khalsa have secured the signing of striker Curvin Ellis. The 28-year-old signed for Southern League Premier Division Central side Stratford Town in June 2022 from Khalsa’s league rivals Sutton Coldfield Town. He had joined the Royals in January 2022 from another league rival, Chasetown. He had joined the Scholars in August 2021 from West Midlands (Regional) League side OJM Black Country. A well-travelled player who has also taken in spells with Coventry United, Boldmere St Michaels, Highgate United, Redditch United, Coleshill Town, Coventry Sphinx, Solihull Moors, Gresley Rovers and Racing Club Warwick. Sporting Khalsa have also announced the signing of winger Chay Tilt (pictured). A Walsall-born winger or forward, the 25-year-old was originally on the books of West Bromwich Albion. After being released by the Baggies in June 2017 he joined Queens Park Rangers where he featured for their under-23 side until he was freed in the summer of 2019. He linked up with Southern Premier Division Central club Stourbridge early in the 2019/20 campaign. In September 2020 he linked up with Macclesfield Town but after their sad demise, signed for then-Southern Premier Central outfit Tamworth before re-joining Stourbridge in late October 2020. He switched to league rivals Redditch United in July 2021 and then onto another, Hednesford Town, at the beginning of September 2021. He took time out of the game before re-joining the Pitmen in December 2022.
