Twenty-one-year-old Reaney (pictured) made 32 appearances for Belper Town during the 2022/23 season, scoring once. Having previously come through the youth ranks at Sheffield Wednesday, including making a number of under-23s appearances, Reaney was released at the end of the 2020/21 season. He subsequently featured for Sheffield FC and Hallam, prior to joining Belper in August 2022. Ossett have also brought in former keeper Joe Green. The Penistone-born shot-stopper, who most recently made 42 appearances for Hyde United between 2020 and 2022, started out at Sheffield United as a youth player. In 2015, Green moved to New York to join the US college football programme, making 4 appearances for Monroe Mustangs. He then returned to the UK, signing for Newport County following a recommendation to manager John Sheridan by the then-Chesterfield goalkeeping coach Mark Crossley. Green made one appearance for Newport, coming off the bench in a 2-1 loss against Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup Third Round in 2016. Having been released at the end of that season, he went on to have short spells at Handsworth Parramore and Hemsworth Miners Welfare. He then joined Scarborough Athletic in 2017, where he kept 8 clean sheets in a row to help his team reach the play-offs. From there, and before joining Hyde, he went on to make 63 appearances for Guiseley between 2017 and 2020, plus 7 loan appearances for Gainsborough Trinity in 2019. He has recently taken a year out of football, but will now link up with the Sheepicorns.
