| Martin Carruthers, manager of Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division club Matlock Town, has plumped for experience with his latest new recruit as 36-year-old midfielder Kemy Augustien came through the door at the Proctor Cars Stadium. |

| He began his career in the Netherlands making 55 appearances in the Eredivisie for Willem II before joining AZ Alkmaar. During his time with Alkmaar he also spent time out on loan with Roda JC, Birmingham City and RKC Waalwijk.
The midfielder then moved to the U.K. for the first time on a permanent basis as he joined Swansea City during his time in English football he has also appeared for Crystal Palace, Brighton and Hove Albion, Nuneaton, Wrexham, Bradford Park Avenue and most recently Kettering Town.
Last season he was with Hednesford Town after a short spell with Kettering Town.
Internationally he played a total of 19 games for the Netherlands under 19’s, 20’s and 21’s and from 2015 he has 15 international caps for Curacao.
Carruthers told https://www.matlocktownfc.co.uk: “His CV speaks for itself, he’s nicely experienced having played in the Football League and the Premiership. He’s a very good footballer, very experienced and will be great in the dressing room. He’s just what we need, he’s great on the ball and will dictate play”.
