...they saw hosts Helston Athletic start their campaign with a 2-1 victory against Sticker, thanks to a late winner.

With the FA Cup and the board-masters festival, there were just four Premier games on Saturday, but each produced a winner.

St Austell had a 4-1 win at home to Falmouth Town to move the Poltair club onto four points as they had also drawn in midweek, whilst the other three victors were chalking up points for the first time.

Millbrook, who are new in Premier, had a first win as they came from behind to beat Callington Town 3-1 at Jenkins Park but Elburton Villa, who are back in Premier, were beaten 1-4 at Haye Road by visitors Exmouth Town.

Two late goals gave Torpoint Athletic a winning start as they won 2-0 at Ivybridge Town.
