The 24-year-old joins from North West Counties League Premier Division side Wythenshawe Town where he made 24 appearances last season. He also featured for Runcorn Linnets in their NPL Division One West play-off semi-final win over Leek Town, where he received praise for his performance. He has also been on the books at NPL Premier side Atherton Collieries as well as Glossop North End. Manager James Kinsey http://stalybridgeceltic.co.uk: “Elliot is a top, top keeper. He’s still at a great age and knows exactly what we expect from our goalkeeper. “He’s class to have around the changing room too. He has experience from playing in a higher division and we know he will get even better with us as the season goes on”.
