....made a strong start to the 2018/19 season, with their latest win coming in the form of a 2-1 triumph at home to Sherborne Town.

The Weymouth Street outfit had to come from behind to secure the three points, with Charlie Walton bagging their equaliser before 16-year-old Jake Wright completed the turnaround 15 minutes from time.

Bishops Lydeard made it back-to-back wins at Cothelstone Road, striking three times in the closing stages to defeat Chippenham Park 4-1.

Having gone ahead in the first half, thanks to a curling finish from Mark Clunie, Lydeard saw their lead slashed when the visitors equalised through Alfie Presley with just over 20 minutes left on the clock.

The home side quickly regained the lead thanks to a deflected finish from Mark Cornish, with Luke Desave and Harry Millar completing the scoring.

The points were shared at the Southbank Ground, where Josh Bright had given Corsham a half-time lead, only for Stuart Windsor to grab an equaliser for Calne Town.

There was also a draw at West Clewes, where Welton Rovers and Ashton & Backwell United shared six goals in an entertaining affair.

David Cooper’s brace looked to be enough for the home side to claim the win, but after earlier goals from Jake Flower and Callum Townsend, Harry Walker then struck a stoppage time equaliser to grab a point for the visitors.

In another tight affair, Wincanton came from behind on two occasions to draw 2-2 away at Chard.

Ollie Pearson and Ryan Parris struck at the beginning of either half to put Chard ahead, with Wincanton managing to level things up through Toby Cole and Declan Cornish as the sides shared the spoils.

At Lakeview, Jack Goddard scored the vital goal to give Bishop Sutton a 1-0 victory over Oldland Abbotonians.
