Blair started off his career by coming through the Liverpool academy before moving onto Burnley to play for their under-21s. In February 2021 he made the move to the Icelandic premier league with Keflavik IF where he has played for the last three seasons. Marley’s uncle Andy Blair is a former Farsley midfielder from the late 1990s and early 2000s. Farsley chairman Paul Barthorpe told https://farsleyceltic.com: “This is probably a first for Farsley, in recruiting a player directly from the Icelandic Premier League, but it’s a testament to our scouting and player recruitment team that we have been able to not only identify talented players from far and wide but have been able to bring them to the club too. “Marley fits our player profile, in that he is a powerful and direct young player, with a strong pedigree and with the added bonus that he can hit the ground running as the Icelandic season has been underway since May”.
