An experienced former professional goalkeeper, Barron comes to Bath with managing and coaching pedigree at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Cheltenham Town, Birmingham City and Northampton Town. Gill told https://www.bathcityfc.com: “I am absolutely delighted to have Jim in as my number two for the new season. His playing and coaching career speaks for itself. He has so much experience and knowledge in the game that will be a wonderful support to myself, the staff and importantly the players. We have known each other for a very long time and share the same core values that we like to see in people. Jim will also be a critical eye, on and off the pitch. I know he will give me ideas to think about and be happy knowing he challenges me in the right way in order to improve us in all aspects of the job. Having started this week, I know he is full of energy and enthusiasm and is already impressed by what he has seen. I am sure you will all make him feel very welcome, I for one know he will have a huge positive impact on us all”.
