The 21-year-old has featured in all of the Lambs pre-season games and has impressed with his composed performances. Phillips moves to the Lambs from league rivals Boston United. He had signed for the Pilgrims in March 2023 from Stratford Town, having been with the Bards since September 2022 after arriving from Alvechurch, where he had been since the summer of 2021. He played for Nottingham Forest for four years and then went on to Mansfield Town where he spent a year and a half before moving on to Cheltenham Town. He signed for Kidderminster Harriers in August 2020. Manager Andy Peaks told his club’s website: “It is important that we have two good goalkeepers on our books. Leon has impressed me with his performances and attitude and he will offer good competition to Jas Singh”.
