Akrofi made a goalscoring debut for the Millers on Saturday in their stunning 6-0 opening day win over Dereham Town at Parkside.

Akrofi joined the Millers after leaving Bostik Premier side Tonbridge Angels where he featured for the last two seasons and scored 34 goals in 68 games.

He helped Maidstone United to promotion from the Vanarama National League South to the National League and also helped Brentwood Town to the Bostik Premier, scoring a hat-trick against Thurrock in the play-off final to get them there.

Akrofi has also played for Concord Rangers on loan and Hastings United.

He had joined National League South outfit Chelmsford City in the summer but chose to leave the Clarets after a few pre-season games.
