Jonny Pugh and Nenad Smiljanic have both recently returned from playing in the United States.
Barnsley-born Pugh is predominantly a left-sided player and is versatile enough to play in midfield, full-back or in attack.
Impressed in pre-season and the former Parkland College, Illinois man looks to be an excellent signing.
Smiljanic is a tall and athletic midfielder who has returned from two years at Columbia University where he played for Firebirds.
Strong in the air with a good touch, he had a spell on Manchester United`s books as a youngster.
Also joining is Phil Bilson, who is a former Chesterfield academy product who joins from SkyBet League Two neighbours Mansfield Town where he played at both reserve team and under-21 level.
Bilson also spent short spells on loan at Corby Town and Heather St John`s last season.
Another new boy is Tyrone Burton from league rivals Carlton Town.
The defender was previously with Arnold Town, Eastwood Town and Gedling Miners Welfare.
