Greene enjoyed managerial success with Histon and St Neots Town as well as at the Poachers` Vanarama National League North neighbours Boston United.

 

Chairman Mick Vines said the decision for him to leave as manager had been by mutual consent.

 

He added that his departure had been amicable.

 

The Poachers were knocked out of the Emirates FA Cup last Saturday and have picked up one point from their first two league games.
