The former Chester and Curzon Ashton player has been a constant fixture in Steve Cunningham's side since signing and was part of the North West Counties League title-winning side of 2015/16.

Pugh told the club`s website: “I'm enjoying my football at the moment and with the plans the manager and the board have to take this club forward it's an exciting time to be at the club. We've had a tough pre-season and as a group we can't wait to get going now on Saturday against Newcastle Town.”

Chairman Ryan Haigh added: “Again we are delighted Lee has committed his future to Colne FC. Retaining players of his quality illustrates what we are trying to build at this football club. Our recruitment has been good over the summer and we are happy with the squad we now have to start the season but that means nothing if you can't keep your top players”.
