....of the early table with a narrow 2-1 win away at local rivals Newquay with the Peppermints unlucky not to get their first point of the season in a tight contest.

 

Saltash United had a 3-0 win away at a Callington Town side who ended the game with nine-men with the Ashes now boasting a 100% start from their opening league games.

 

Tavistock are up to third after a 4-0 win away at Sticker with the margin of victory shared with Exmouth Town, who had a 4-0 home win over previously unbeaten Torpoint Athletic at Southern Road.

 

Godolphin Atlantic picked up their first win of the season with a 1-0 scoreline at home to Launceston whilst five teams remain without a point.

 

Bodmin Town carried on from an FA Cup win in the week with a 4-2 win away in the league away at Cullompton Rangers, whilst in West Cornwall two sides had home maximums. Falmouth Town were 3-1 victors` over Ivybridge Town at Bickland Park and Helston Athletic had a 3-2 win over West Champions Millbrook at Kellaway Park. 

 

The odd side out this weekend were Camelford, who have won their two opening league games.

 

Twenty-four hours earlier, Plymouth Argyle reserves chalked up their first win of the season as they won their first home contest of the season with a 3-1 victory over Premier Division new boys Elburton Villa at Coach Road.
