....with a 2-0 Sunday success at Hayes Lane against promoted Whitstable Town.

The Oystermen were involved in the Emirates FA Cup last weekend, so this was their first game in the league.

And in front of a decent crowd of 316, it took Cray 68 minutes to make the breakthrough with a goal from Junior Dadson.

And then 2 minutes from time, Aaron Rhule made sure of victory with the Wands` second.

Sunday`s other game saw Thamesmead Town suffer a second successive defeat, this time at Dartford`s Princes Park against Faversham Town, who had drawn their opener last weekend.

Mead got off to a great start when Bode Anidugbe opened the scoring inside the first minute.

But two goals in 5 minutes from Harry Goodger (25 minutes) and then Danny Walder eventually won it for the visitors.
