Wantage Town maintained their 100% record this season and top the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division table....

....with a 3-1 win over Bishops Cleeve on Saturday.

 

Goals from Jack Dunmall and Harvey Scholes put Wantage ahead before Jack Watts pulled one back. Connor Mattimore made it safe in the second half before the visitor's keeper was dismissed with 3 minutes to go. Home scorers Jack Dunmall 8 minutes Harvey Scholes 23 Connor Mattimore 72 - Away Jack Watts 41.

 

Virginia Water recorded their first ever win at step 5 level along with a clean sheet in their 0-2 away win at Northcourt against Abingdon United. Away scorers Adam McNamara 25, Josh Hill 62.

 

The visitors to Stag Meadow, Royal Wootton Bassett Town, were there nil up after 52 minutes of play. That was before home side Windsor realised they needed to do something and replied with four goals to take the points! Home scorers Ashley Smith 62 72, Jeevan Panesar 63, Malachi Thomas 84 - Away Matt Bennett 29, Brad Pagltaroli 38,51.

 

At the Racecourse ground visitors Lydney Town were 1-0 up against home side Ascot United at the break. Five minutes after the break Ascot found the goal scoring four without reply, Nathan Minhas recording a hat trick. Home scorers Nathan Minhas 50 71 80 Harry Laflin 89 - Away Lewis Thompson 15.

 

In the Brackley Town versus Longlevens fixture at St James Park, the last ten minutes produced a flurry of goals with the home team securing all the points. Home scorers Harry Brock 45 Chris Jordan 81 Logan Roach OG 85- Away James Campbell 22 Myron Turner 88.

 

The Binfield v Holmer Green match at Hill Farm was an extremely tight contest, taking 93 minutes of play before a single goal was registered. Binfield’s hot shot Ian Davies won them the points on 90+3 minutes.

 

Two second half goals from Flackwell Heath’s Mo Ceasay earned the home side a 2-0 victory over Brimscombe & Thrupp. Home scorer Mo Ceesay 55, 90+3.

 

Reading City maintain their 100% win record with a 3-1 win against Fairford town at the Rivermoor ground. Home scorers Alfie Grant 8 Mitchell Parker 25, 85 - Away John Thomas 49.

 

Ardley United claimed their first points of the season with a 2-1 win against visitors Tuffley Rovers. Home scorers Deon Gallacher 11 Louis Joyce 29 - Away Dominic Kent 70.
