One In - One Out at Newport Pagnell
It was a case of one in, one out for United Counties League Premier Division club Newport Pagnell Town.

Joining the club is defensive midfielder Jake Nagy from league rivals Northampton ON Chenecks.

 

Nagy numbers Cogenhoe United and Bugbrooke st Michaels amongst his previous clubs.

 

However, Pagnell have lost midfielder Greg Ling to Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central side Corby Town.

 

Ling has been with Pagnell for the past three seasons, making over 120 appearances and scoring 21 goals.

 

He numbers Long Buckby, Bedford Town, Sileby Rangers and AFC Rushden ^& Diamonds amongst his other former clubs.

 

Newport Pagnell manager Darren Lynch said: “I am glad to have Jake on board to add more competition for places. He is a hard-working, ball-winning midfielder who will add some steel in the middle of the park.

 

“Unfortunately, we have lost Greg Ling, who has stepped up to play for Corby.

 

“I`d like to wish him all the best and thank him for all his efforts over the last three years. Top lad who will be missed”.
