....moved to bolster his defence by signing Peter Wylie from Marine AFC.

Wylie, 24, joined the NPL Premier Division side last year from Skelmersdale United.

Ellison said: "He is a versatile defender who can play anywhere across the back four.

"He has a wealth of experience at Northern Premier League level. I'm delighted to have Peter in - he'll certainly improve the squad."

Wylie began his career at Blackburn Rovers, featuring in their FA Youth Cup side, before moving to Skelmersdale in 2013.

He joined Stalybridge Celtic in March 2015, making 55 appearances for the Bower Fold club's National League North team, before returning to Skem.
