The 19-year-old has become an instrumental member of the Orient squad having made his debut in April 2016, scoring his first goal of the season in last week’s win at Maidstone United.
Koroma scored his first professional goals when he scored three against Newport County in March 2017, becoming the O’s youngest ever player to score a hat-trick.
The academy graduate flourished following the appointment of Justin Edinburgh in December 2017, scoring 6 times in 18 starts.
In total, Koroma has made 63 appearances for the club and has scored 10 times.
Koroma told https://www.leytonorient.com: “When I was 15, Orient gave me my first chance by signing me to the academy. Then making my debut here, it`s a special club to me and my family so being able to stay here for another two years is fantastic.”
Head coach Justin Edinburgh said: “He’s earned the new contract. For me, the most important thing for any players is his attitude and his has been first-class and he’s certainly improved. He’s got a bright future as long as he continues to work as hard as he has since I’ve been here”. |
