Lewis Fensome returns for a second spell at Lancaster, this time on a permanent deal, while Wes Fletcher joins on loan.

Right-back Fensome had previously enjoyed a loan spell at Giant Axe and now returns on a permanent deal after leaving SkyBet Championship side Preston North End in the summer.

Fensome joined the squad in pre-season and clearly impressed manager Phil Brown, who told his club`s website: "Lewis did well in pre-season games and has earned his place in the squad. Although a young player Lewis has looked comfortable. The experience he gained last year has helped him a lot, he hasn’t been fazed at all. Once he gets more games under his belt he’ll go on to become an even better player."

Striker Wes Fletcher joins City on loan from Vanarama National League North neighbours Chorley.

The former Burnley, Accrington Stanley, York City and Motherwell forward joins the Dolly Blues on a month-long loan in a bid to regain full match fitness before returning to the Magpies.

Chorley boss Jamie Vermiglio told http://www.chorleyfc.com: "Wes is going to Lancaster to regain match fitness and will be back at the end of September. He'll be a big player for us once he returns".
