The 22-year-old could be in line for his Spireites debut in today’s home game against Barnet as he makes a move that will see him gain further first-team experience.

Signed from Shrewsbury Town just over twelve months ago, the former England Youth international was a regular for Hull’s under-23 side last season but with David Marshall and George Long currently ahead of him in the senior pecking order, a loan move gives him the chance to play regular first-team football.

Burton is certainly no stranger to being out on loan, having had stints with Market Drayton Town, Workington AFC, Nuneaton Town, Southport and AFC Telford United whilst on the Shrews` books, and last season spent a month with Salford City in the National League North.

The loan deal runs until January 16th, 2019.
