....unbeaten in the Vanarama National League following Bank Holiday Monday`s round of matches.

But in contrast, former England boss Peter Taylor is under pressure at Dagenham & Redbridge after they lost for the sixth time in seven games and are still win-less in 2018/19.

Alex Gudger`s first league goal for Solihull Moors ended Wrexham`s unbeaten start to the season under new boss Sam Ricketts.

The Dragons drew on Saturday and relinquished leadership of the embryonic table when Gudger broke the deadlock at the Automated Technology Group Stadium in the 82nd minute, getting on the end of a Liam Daly flick to fire past Rob Lainton.

And Moors held firm, despite 9 minutes of time added on at the end of the game.

It`s back-to-back wins for Barnet this holiday weekend as manager John Still inflicted another defeat on his former club Dagenham at The Hive.

On Saturday, the Daggers led before losing 2-1 at home to Hartlepool United, and they led here too when Elliott Romain scored after just 2 minutes.

But Wes Fonguck equalised just before half-time and then Jack Barham won it for the Bees in the 65th minute.

Maidenhead United broke their duck on Saturday at home to Maidstone United and Alan Devonshire`s side made it two holiday wins after a 2-0 win at The Ironmongery Direct Stadium against a still yet-to-win Braintree Town side.

Adrian Clifton gave the Magpies a 27th minute lead that Ayo Obileye doubled right on the stroke of half-time.

And despite 2-0 often being a dangerous interval lead, this time the visitors managed the second period well.

FC Halifax Town are back on top of the table after winning 1-0 at The Shay against Gateshead.

The Shaymen made a quick recovery from the disappointment of a last-gasp defeat at Boreham Wood on Saturday and Jordan Preston’s goal on the stroke of half-time sealed their fifth win from their first seven games.

Relegated Chesterfield, however, slipped to their fourth defeat in succession when they lost out by the same scoreline at The Northern Gas and Power Stadium against Hartlepool United.

A 17th minute effort by Nicky Featherstone sealed Pools second win over the holiday weekend.

Leyton Orient, who drew on Saturday, inflicted a third consecutive defeat on Dover Athletic at Breyer Group Stadium.

A goal from Jobi McAnuff after 51 minutes, along with late strikes from Josh Koroma on 81 minutes and sub Matt Harrold in stoppage time handed the O’s all three points.

Bromley also completed an unbeaten August Bank Holiday as they followed up Saturday`s excellent draw at Wrexham with a comprehensive 4-0 defeat of promoted Havant & Waterlooville at Hayes Lane.

Poor defending from set-pieces cost the visitors two first half goals from Omar Bugiel in the 9th and 33rd minutes before Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe bagged a brace in the 59th and 72nd minutes.

Aldershot Town halted a run of two successive defeats by beating Sutton United 2-1 at the EBB Stadium.

The Shots were aided by the U`s being reduced to ten-men on the half-hour mark when an Aldershot break through Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong was halted 10 yards over halfway line by Jamie Collins, who was shown a straight red card.

The home side broke the deadlock right on half-time when a Scott Rendell effort was deflected past Sutton `keeper Jamie Butler by Ross Lafayette.

And on 66 minutes, Berkeley-Agyepong bagged Aldershot`s second.

A minute from time, Aswad Thomas was brought down in the box after an incident with Luke Howell and Lafayette pulled one back from the resulting penalty.

There was a costly dismissal at the Silverlake Stadium too as Eastleigh suffered a 1-0 defeat to an Ebbsfleet United side who have now won their last three matches.

Defender Alex Wynter was shown a second yellow card after just 32 minutes – and that after the Spitfires` James Constable had smashed the ball off the underside of the crossbar 15 minutes earlier.

But the ten-men conceded a goal right on half-time when Danny Kedwell finished with a neat turn and shot.

Salford City enjoyed a decent holiday weekend by following up Saturday`s draw at Havant with a 3-1 win at the Peninsula Stadium against Barrow AFC.

And the Ammies had to come back from being a 20th minute Jason Taylor goal down to win too.

Adam Rooney equalised 9 minutes later and then Nathan Pond put the hosts in front just past the hour-mark.

A shot from Danny Lloyd that went in off Barrow `keeper Andy Firth rounded off Salford`s win after 65 minutes.

It was a poor holiday weekend for Maidstone United and a good one for Boreham Wood as the latter won 2-1 at the Gallagher Stadium to record back-to-back wins.

It was the Stones, who lost at Maidenhead on Saturday, who took the lead through Jack Paxman right on half-time.

A lovely free-kick from Angelo Balanta pulled Wood level on the hour-mark and with 5 minutes remaining, Josh Umerah scored his third goal of the weekend to seal the visitors` win.
