....of Bedworth Town on Bank Holiday Monday.

In front of a crowd of 845 at Latimer Park, the Poppies actually found themselves a goal behind after just 4 minutes through Daniel Dubidat.

But 2 minutes later, in-form returnee Marcus Kelly equalised and then Dion Kelly-Evans put the hosts in front in the 17th minute.

Just after the break, Ben Milnes added the Poppies` third and then Rhys Hoenes on 61 minutes and Kelly again 17 minutes from time made it a nap hand for the leaders and leave the Greenbacks still searching for a first win.

But they are the only team yet to taste victory in 2018/19 after wins for both relegated Tamworth and promoted Alvechurch.

Tamworth beat Rushall Olympic 2-0 at The Lamb, thanks to Chris Lait after 12 minutes and then a late Tristan Dunkley effort.

Alvechurch also won at home, 3-0 against Redditch United, with David Bellis giving the hosts a great start with a goal inside the opening minute.

Josh Ezewele added a second 10 minutes later and a Jordan Mills own goal made it 3-0 with only 20 minutes gone.

But that proved to be the final goal of the afternoon at Lye Meadow.

Biggleswade Town and Banbury United join Kettering in yet to be beaten in the new season to date.

The Waders had to be content though with one point from their game at Langford Road against Hitchin Town, whose Josh Bickerstaff gave them a 32nd minute lead.

Josh Urquhart equalised 13 minutes from time to preserve Lee Allinson`s side`s unbeaten start.

It was a similar story in reverse at the Spencer Stadium where Banbury led through Greg Kaziboni`s 16th minute opener until Nabil Shariff levelled for Stratford Town from the penalty spot 15 minutes from time.

Alex Dean won the Leicestershire derby for Coalville Town at Owen Street against Barwell with the only goal just before half-time, while Ben Fowkes did likewise for Lowestoft Town after 14 minutes at Crown Meadow against King`s Lynn Town in front of 750.

AFC Rushden & Diamonds returned to winning ways at St Neots Town, thanks to Ben Farrell`s early 7th minute penalty, and Ben Seymour-Shove bagged a brace in the 45th and 75th minutes to earn St Ives Town a 2-1 win at Garden Walk against Royston Town, whose Ben Martin had given them a 26th minute lead.

The Suffolk derby at Bloomfields between Needham Market and Leiston finished 2-2 in front of 657.

Cemal Ramadan gave the visitors a 10th minute lead that Joe Marsden cancelled out from the spot 5 minutes later.

Adam Mills` 24th minute effort took the Marketmen into the break in front, but Chris Henderson restored parity on 65 minutes.
