Thame won 1-0 at former tenants Aylesbury United, courtesy of a 27th minute goal from Andy Gledhill.

Sports, switched from the Northern Premier League in the summer re-shuffle, won the derby at promoted Yaxley in front of a crowd of 300.

Jordan Brown gave Sports an early 6th minute lead on the 3G and former Corby Town stalwart Paul Malone added a second after 27 minutes.

Dan Cotton pulled the hosts back into the game 12 minutes from time, but a third from Josh McCammon in the 2nd minute of stoppage time sealed Sports win.

Bromsgrove Sporting dropped their first points since winning promotion from the Total Motion Midland League when win-less Sutton Coldfield Town held them to a 1-1 draw in front of 416 at Coles Lane.

Indeed, it looked as though the Royals were heading for their first three-point haul as they led through Matt Hearsey`s goal just before the break until 8 minutes from time when Josh Quaynor grabbed Sporting`s equaliser.

Bedford Town and Coleshill Town both suffered their first league defeats, with the Eagles going down by the odd goal in five at Histon against Cambridge City, who found themselves a goal down inside 4 minutes from Craig Daniel.

Ryan Sharman on 25 minutes and Ebby Nelson-Addy 8 minutes later turned City round to lead 2-1 before veteran Paul Benson equalised 2 minutes before half-time.

A draw looked on the cards until Nathan Olukanmi popped up with City`s winner a minute from time.

Promoted Coleshill were beaten 2-0 at home by Corby Town, whose recent signing Greg Ling opened the scoring after 9 minutes.

Joel Carta added the Steelmen`s second 4 minutes into the second half.

Kidlington and Aylesbury FC join Sutton Coldfield in still searching for a win – and in the former`s case, their first point after losing 3-0 at home to Kempston Rovers, for whom this was their first points.

Josh Crawley bagged a brace for the Walnut Boys in the 12th and 68th minutes, sandwiched by a Nathan Tshikuna effort a minute before the break.

The Moles at least picked up their first point after holding promoted Berkhamsted to a 1-1 draw in which Courtney Massay`s 37th minute penalty for the hosts was eventually levelled by the Moles` new signing, Aaron King just 4 minutes from time.

Tony Williams scored the only goal of the game a minute after half-time to earn promoted Welwyn Garden City a second win, this time at home to Barton Rovers, while North Leigh did likewise in a 2-0 derby win at home to Didcot Town, thanks to George Seacole`s 5th minute strike and Noah Alabi`s second 15 minutes from time.

And a crowd of 302 saw derby honours go to Dunstable Town, who recorded a first win at Creasey Park against AFC Dunstable.

Tony Burnett gave the `home` AFC side an early 9th minute lead that Saul Williams cancelled out after 24 minutes.

Williams and then Chris Wreh netted again in the second period to put the Blues 3-1 up before Charlie Clayton forced a nervy finale with AFC`s second in the 88th minute.
