Bostik League North side Brentwood Town avoided an upset at Essex Senior Leaguers Sporting Bengal United in their replay on Wednesday night.

After being held to a 1-1 draw on their own patch last Saturday, Tobi Joseph gave Brentwood a 13th minute lead to settle the nerves.

But they couldn`t add to that and 20 minutes from time, Jon Watson equalised from the penalty spot.

A superb strike from Alfie Hilton though brought Town back in front just 2 minutes later.

However, 7 minutes from time, Brentwood had sub Harry Cuthbert sent-off along with Sporting Bengal`s Bobby Redwood.

And in stoppage time, Albert Levett sealed it for visitors when he caught the home keeper out and lobbed a long-range effort into far corner of the net.

Ebac Northern League First Division side Guisborough Town are through after beating Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division outfit Albion Sports 4-0 in their replay at the King George.

Guisborough got off to a great start when Joe Ferguson volleyed them in front after 4 minutes, and he made it 2-0 in a goalmouth scramble on 67 minutes.

Ashley Lavan fired a third but was then red-carded for a foul.

Ferguson completed his hat-trick from the spot in the last minute.

Sacha Tong bagged a brace in the 2nd and 14th minutes to help Toolstation Western League Premier Division side Cadbury Heath through 4-1 at home to South West Peninsula League Premier outfit Bodmin Town.

Kristian Lee 5 minutes before the break and Horace Ormsby 20 minutes from time completed a comfortable replay win, with Bodmin having replied 5 minutes after the break.

Shaz Anwar scored the only goal to send Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division Hadley through at home to Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier side Brackley Town Saints.
